On Site Camping

With so much to enjoy over the Isle of Wight Festival of Running weekend, why not make the most of the holiday break and stay at our onsite campsite. It’s a great central location to enjoy all the attractions the West Wight has to offer, plus you’ll have access to all the Sports Centre facilities.

Campsite Opening hours: 09:00 on Friday 1 June to 15:00 on Sunday 3 June

Sports Centre opening hours: 7am to 10pm Friday 1 June, 7am to 10pm Saturday 2 June, 8am to 5pm Sunday 3 June

Fee:  £10 per tent pitch. You will need to book your pitch in advance when you enter your race online.

Facilities: Showers, toilets and cafe in Sports Centre. Porta-loos on the campsite.

Catering: Our cafe will be open from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, plus there will be a variety of catering outlets in the Festival Village. We will be offering an all you can eat buffet breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. It will include:

  • Fresh Juices
  • Range of cereals including granola and porridge
  • Bacon or poached/scrambled egg bap
  • Fresh fruit and yoghurt
  • Croissants and toast
  • Unlimited tea and coffee

Book a pitch: When you enter any of the Festival of Running races or SpyVelo Long Weekend online you will be given an option of adding camping.

Skinners Farm

Skinners is a working farm with self catering holiday caravans based in Cowes, under 30 minutes drive from West Wight Sports & Community Centre.

The farm and holiday accommodation are found at the end of a 400 metre lane. Skinners is one mile from Parkhurst Forest, just over a mile from the secluded Thorness Bay, and three miles from both Cowes and Newport. The farm buildings and caravans are surrounded by the 150 acres of farmland.
